Does it hurt and are there risks?
Discomfort varies depending on the depth of the treatment. Topical anesthesia is applied before the procedure. After the treatment, most patients describe the post-procedure feeling as a bad sunburn for about 12 hours to 2 days. Over-the-counter pain relievers may be taken in the days after the procedure to alleviate any residual discomfort.

What can I expect after my procedure?
